Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

We collect the email address and password hash you provide at signup, your bot configuration (name, persona, welcome message, knowledge base URLs), and conversation messages between your bot and its users.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to operate the ChatWiser service — authenticating your account, running your bot, and generating AI responses. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate ChatWiser:

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic — AI responses. Conversation messages are processed by Claude.
• Telegram / WhatsApp — message delivery. Messages pass through their respective platforms.
• Railway — cloud hosting. Data is stored in Railway-managed PostgreSQL.

4. Data Retention

Conversation history is retained for up to 90 days. Account data is retained until you delete your account. On deletion, your bot is deactivated and your password hash is removed.

5. Your Rights

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. To request a full data export or erasure, contact us at privacy@chatwiser.com.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie for authentication. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
